Cyber Insurance designed to offer third party Protection and Indemnity coverage in cases of Wreck Removal (ROW) and Fixed or Floating Object (FFO)
In some circumstances, cyber attacks can lead to 3rd party costs (e.g. ROW – removal of wrecked vessels causing danger or blocking narrow lanes, FFO – vessels striking port infrastructure whether fixed or floating) to which regular P&I policies will not respond because of Lloyd’s exclusion LM5403.
While traditionally cyber policies focus on first-party costs, we have created a policy which can cover these items where cyber is the proximate cause, providing significant comfort to port states concerned that a cyber attack on a third party affecting their ability to operate.
Working closely with brokers and The P & I Clubs we get to understand your operational exposure; assess your approach to cyber risk; and deliver tailored underwriting solutions.
